But good Lord, ...Jane, I've missed your posts. But good Lord, woman, you're much braver than I am to modify your saddle!! That's something I'd never attempt!! But you did a great job!!

After coming home from 3 days of trail riding with yet another saddle sore (what's up with that?), I'm still not happy with Pepper in her bit. So for Mother's Day, I bought her a hackamore. Tried one on her this weekend and it was a dream.

JoJoJoJohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12488275878253530422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4455485508881407962.post-17803817609233073402011-05-09T10:53:14.960-04:002011-05-09T10:53:14.960-04:00Jane, I've missed your posts. Good Lord, woma...Jane, I've missed your posts. Good Lord, woman, you're brave. Of course, you have much more experience than I do but I'd never, ever attempt to take apart my saddle and change it!! I admire your tenacity!

I was kidnapped by my friend last Wednesday and spent 3 1/2 days at one of our state parks, trail riding. Came home with yet another saddle sore (what's up with that?) but very happy. And we're going to see Chili this afternoon. I miss my baby!

BTW, I bought Pepper a Mother's Day gift....a hackamore! Still not happy with the way she behaves in her bit so I tried a hackamore this past week and it was a dream!! I guess it shows where my priorities are.....I got nothing for myself --- I bought a gift for my horse!!

JoJoJoJohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12488275878253530422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4455485508881407962.post-88215480922537872302011-05-07T12:50:19.416-04:002011-05-07T12:50:19.416-04:00GREAT job on that saddle! Hope you get to ride a lot this year...will look forward to seeing what you're up to next.Jacque.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11171878615414692923noreply@blogger.com
