Hi Jane, just want to say "I Luv your work". My grandmother, Carrie Wheeler, Hawthorne N.Y., was a very accomplished at hooked rugs from scratch. I used to watch her make strips of wool from old clothing, make balls of them and use for her hooked rugs. I have several of them stashed away. She used to enter them in the Westchester County Fair, and won several awards. How I miss her, but I am lucky to have some of her rugs to remember her by.
