What a cool idea! I might have to try that next year... Hopefully it is quite a bit warmer. Last night was below zero here in Denver!

Marilyn, it was very cool! So glad I did it, ending one year on a good note and starting the next one even better!!

Lisa, Hope that you can do this sometime too, maybe you will get lucky like I did with the weather! BIG fun!!!

Kate, ya, very cool!

Jacque, I should have had Mike try videoing, but thought it might be too dark to do it.

gtyyup, oh, yes, it sure does go faster, "better like fine wine" I like that!!!

Katharine, it was great, glad my husband went along with it, he took the pictures! More fun when you have pictures!

Desert Rose, I have ridden at night before but for some reason never thought of this one before....but then the weather has mostly always been cold, I got lucky!

Kacy, LOL...yes, I was styling all right! notice the scarf, it had horses on it, a gift from our daughter and her boyfriend. Gilly was wondering why I was riding again, he said, "hey, I already did this once today!" But I think he was having fun too. Boy, am I sore though, hadn't gotten to ride in a long time so my legs are protesting now! I am calling today about another saddle, an all purpose Wintec with CAIR and a suede seat...more on that later.

Jane, what beautiful pictures and what a fantastic way to ring in the New Year. I wish I could have been on this ride with you.

Just wanted to let you know that my mare (who wasn't supposed to be pregnant and IF she was, odds were excellent she was going to deliver a mule) delivered to me a beautiful, gorgeous brown and white paint filly this morning at about 12:30 a.m.

I just came home from spending mega time with Pepper and the new baby, as yet unnamed, and am floating on Cloud 9. Pepper is being a calm, great mom and had no problems with me being in her face and holding and stroking her baby. What a rush of joy!

To non-believers, YES, there ARE still miracles in this world! And I'm living it!!!

JoJo, wish you could have been here too. WOW, congratulations on the new arrival!! That is a true miracle if I ever hear one; and a beautiful on at that! I have never had the honor of being around a new born horse, how lucky you are.
Please let me know what you name her, again congratulations!!!! :-)

If I ever did such a ride, it would have to be on Jaz, who is the only one of my horses that can see after dark.
