The adventures of Gilly the rescue horse and his side kick and partner in crime, Pokey the donkey.

Smooch or a bite?

I labeled this picture "Donkey bite" but it looks like little ornery Pokey is giving his big buddy Gilly a BIG smooch! Aren't they cute? LOL
He really was biting Gilly's jaw, just after I snapped the picture Gilly turned around and gave his what for!

Nothing much to post about today. Snow is still here, melting somewhat, dirty and ugly looking now. No sunshine, dreary winter type weather. Weather forecast is still calling for snow flurries....seems like winter is dragging on forever!

I am making vegetable soup for supper, that will brighten things up....yum....a hot bowl of vegetable soup on a dreary day! Made with my canned beef, tomatoes, potatoes and onions.... Sounds good, huh?

Guess I'd better get back to hooking too!

Cute photo and your soup sounds yummie! Wishing you clear blue happy skies! We finally have nice weather after one of the coldest, gloomiest winters ever!

Mmmm! The homemade veggie soup sound delish!
The photo is adorable. But I'm amazed at how big Gilly's head is compared to that gap in the fence. How fast can he pull it out to give Pokey a piece of his mind....er teeth? hehe!

Adorable pic!!!

About the sidesaddle suit on my blog..and you question about the 'skirt'. Patterns after about 1908 were ususally for a wrap around apron instead of a 'skirt', which is what this is. The apron is a safer solution than a full skirt. Not popular, but I prefer to use a full skirt..pure vanity - I know!

Just look at that innocent face, it must be a big smooch for his buddy! The soup sounds great. I'm sick of this dirty snow too, we're getting flurries today. Do they know it's March and should be warming up by now?

Hay Jane!
So sorry for the wintry session going long there...we are having a false spring..that feels like it but looks the like the real thing!
I actually have not had the heart to photograph it cause most my bloggerville friends, like you, have winter still.
That soup sounded delicious!

Awe Pokey...horse biter you! That space does seem extra small for Gilly compared to little Pokey's head!

Wanted to tell you~
I have tried several attempts at finding the GPS owner. My PBO said she'd go with me, if I found a driveway that it was coming down in the "waypoint" marker. I tried on horse...but nope! I thought I had found the right driveway ...but it is telling me a diff story the second time out.
I am taking a class soon and have thought to order the cable for the internet so I may set my own things up.

What you working on hooking?
LOVE
Kac

Wow, then you get to keep the GPS? How neat is that, you sure can use it, all the places you ride. Oh, post some photos anyway, I love seeing where you ride, beautiful sights to behold!
