Lucy picks some of the oddest places to take a nap! It looks like she has made a pillow out of the snow by the driveway. Mike had called me to the side door to take some pictures of her sleeping.
Stretching and appears to be waking up, but she stretched and laid back down for a bit.
Some thing caught her attention and she is looking toward the roadway.
"Oh, there you are with that camera again! Don't take my picture, I haven't combed my hair yet!"
After that she got up and came to the door looking for a cookie, sigh, Ok since you were a good model for me, you can have more cookies!

Lucy is really cute. I have two Australian Sheperds, Maggie and Murphy(brother and sister) and my daughter has a A.S. that she got from the rescue. Molly is now 16 yrs. old and apart from some arthritis and hearing problems(she doesn't) she's doing fine. The vets cant' believe her age. She's like Lucy and loves to be outside and around the barn all day. Love her pictures sleeping in the snow. Molly does the same thing.
Lucy is so adorable! I love the breed. They are so smart.
Every time I see her pic on your post preview on my blogger dashboard, I always think she's my sister's Aussie, LOL! Looks like she has no problem finding herself a comfy bed! :)
Anything for a cookie, right Jane?
Just LOVE those eyes...
Funny, how dogs can sleep in the craziest positions. (to us anyway)
Enjoy...

Grey Horse Matters, Lucy is getting older and slower but still seems full of energy, when SHE wants to that is!
Dusty Devoe, thanks, Lucy is a gem!
Pony Girl, Sadie's twin only older LOL! She does find some weird places to sleep.
Marilyn, yes, funny positions for sure. I must try to get a shot of her sleeping on her back!!!
She really is a lovely girl.
Lucy seems so sweet. I just want to give her a big ol hug!
Your Mike reminds me of my John. He often calls me to come wherever he is to take a photo of something an animal or child is doing that he thinks is cute. lol!
