Wood

I have had this picture for quite some time and decided to post it. This is my neighbor's wood pile in his outside shed. He has a wood burning stove in his house and workshop in the garage. I was just fascinated by the texture of this photo; so neatly stacked! Interesting!!

Wow! That is interesting! I bet you could have fun doing some creative editing of that photo to add interesting textures and colors, etc.
It's so pretty, I'd almost be afraid to take any wood from that pile. lol!

That IS a great photo. He stacked it so neatly. How much has he burned through this winter?

I have a wood stove and sometimes it's unbelievable the amount of wood we use. I used to ONLY burn wood but this year I've been using the furnace in the mornings because we haven't been able to stock up on wood. You really need to be a year or two ahead so that it can season.

Those are neatly stacked. I could see why you couldn't resist getting a picture of that. I could have used some of that wood the other night when our electricity went out for several hours and we lost our heat. We rarely use our wood burning stove, because we don't like to pollute the air, but that was one case where we needed it.

Lisa, yes, the wood pile is very interesting, I will have to do some creative stuff with it.

Val, he cuts wood all year long. He has a pretty big shed that he keep it in. I don't know how much he burns in a year.

LOL, yes, everyone wants that big wood pile! I sometimes, JUST sometimes wish we had a wood burner but I don't wanna cut wood. We have lots of woods that we could cut plenty. We had thought one time about getting an outdoor wood stove but didn't. The guy is VERY particular about how the wood is staked too!

Cool! I love wood burning stoves. They are so cozy! They can make a house almost too warm at times, though. My sister's woodstove often blasts us out of the living room, LOL!
