Buster Gets a Bath

This is a dog, somewhere........I can see one foot, I think it's a hind foot. I had just given him a bath and he was trying to dry himself....he's not to happy about bath time. I didn't get any pictures of him in the tub. Once I had him in there I couldn't go get the camera. So here is the aftermath!
Oh, here we go he is doing the back stroke here.
OK, time out from trying to get dry and giving me a "look". He was moving so fast most of the time I couldn't get many pictures. Most were a blur of fur!
He has just shaken him head when I snapped this one but it was still a little blurry. He decided to do all this "drying" on our bed.
Here he had ran downstairs from our bedroom and was on the back of the couch. What a face, showing his disapproval. He would lay there for a bit then take off running again then would hit the couch and roll some more. Finally he got dry and was much better behaved. Now he is a clean, fluffy boy. Next time I will have the camera ready when bath time comes; he is a really different looking boy when wet.

What part of I DON'T WANT A BATH didn't you understand Buster telling you! Guess your bed was as good as anyplace to dry off!

Doesn't matter what the "kid" said about not wanting a bath; LOL, he was dirty and needed one! He really doesn't get grumpy during the bath, it's the drying off that he starts growling and sounding ferocious, but I pay him no mind since he's only 9 pounds! The funny stuff starts when he is "free" of the bath towel! Maybe next time I will get out the camcorder so I can capture the wild running and rolling fit he has!

When I was growing up we had Boston Terriors and they would were great in the bath it was the after the bath when they went nuts. Sure beats bathing a cat!

OMG......I have given a cat a bath before....HISSSSSSS...NOT a FUN thing to do!!! Why did I do it, stupid I guess! Looked like I had been attacked by a thorn bush when finished and cat was VERY MAD, but clean!

hahaha!
I think they are too funny after baths..it must excite the skin cause all they wish to do it roll and roll and roll!!
We had a p[roblem with my husband and our first cat, he seemed to be salergic and so, I took to bathing him every week when he was 8 weeks old. He got used to it and would just stand in the tub!
Elsie will also bathe well...if I don't move the curtain(it is loud and scares her) and if I have the water all ready and not running.

I did the Picasa 3..LOVE it still figuring out somethigns but love to fiddle here so I eventually will do video too!THANKS JANE!!!!

Kacy,
Glad you like Picasa 3, lots of good stuff to play with there, huh?
Isn't that funny that domestic cats don't seem to like water but the big cats do?

That first photo, lol! If that was all you posted, I wouldn't even have known there was a dog in there. Looks like "Fizzgig" from the movie the Dark Crystal.

Thanks for reminding me!

What great pictures of Buster. He definitely does NOT look happy about his bath. From the look on his face while he's drying, I'd say he was hoping to scare you and any other humans away. So cute and too funny.
