The adventures of Gilly the rescue horse and his side kick and partner in crime, Pokey the donkey.

Here comes MORE snow!

It started snowing again today, the BIG storm is coming! We are supposed to get 6 to 8 inches of snow but how knows how much we will get. When I get up tomorrow and look out then I'll know but it's supposed to snow until Friday evening. Here are the boys after it had been snowing about two hours this afternoon.

Gilly looks like a snow covered Yak!!!

He really looks funny here! Yawning and nodding his head. This was about feeding time so they were standing guard so they could see in the sliding glass door; the look of the first picture is what you see if you look out about the time they think they need fed! I usually don't feed until 4 or 5 in the evening but they start their watch about 3 or 3:30.

Lovely horse and donkey in the snow! The yawn was a good catch.
Wow, truly, you are having a winterish time this year...do you realize, we've known each known each for a year now?!
HA!
I just ready your comment about the Yak-aloosa! Too funny. Right before Christmas we has a one day event of snow at my barn..no one in town even saw it..I of course, did NOT have my camera...Wa looked like an Appy -for the first time I remember!
You hang in an enjoy it...the spring will be here in no time my dear and this is the year for you...I can feel it from here...new adventures for you and the Gilly man!

Brrrr. Do you own a sleigh?:-) Stay warm. I am now going to stop complaining about the 40 degree temps here in Portland.

Hey Jane...the boys look super cool with their white snow blankets! I refuse to take any photos of snow this year. Hate it. Tag, on the other hand, thinks his winter mission is to eat all the snow. He'll stand out there lifting his feet up (one at a time) cuz he's cold...but does he stop? nooooooo...and what does he want with that freezing stuff, anyway? Not like it's hot out and will cool him down...he's just lowering his core body temp quickly...the silly boy.

Trying to play catch up and see what you've been up to Jane. Sorry for not coming by for so long. It's been a crazy, busy and tough week.....
