My round pen is waiting for me but the snow is stopping me and Gilly from having fun! Well, me anyway, he and Pokey are playing and having a good time in the winter wonderland.
The creek looks cold enough to freeze you in an instant, don't think I will go wading!
Ice hangs from the granary roof.
The pine by the house has ice and snow on it, very cold.
I know spring is coming soon but not soon enough! My hands and feet don't like the cold anymore now that I have gotten older. When I was a kid I was out riding in all kinds of weather.
The snow has melted some and the roads out here are very slick so if I did try to ride I would be afraid of Gilly slipping and both of us ending up on the ground, I would like to stay upright, please.
Maybe soon the weather will warm a bit and I can ride again.
Hurry up SPRING!!!!

Just a few more days til spring, Jane. huh? ohyeah, months! A few more months! Hang in there.
it was 40 yesterday and today so our snow is pretty much gone, but there is enough ice left that I canceled my ride today.
Hurry up spring!
LOL Jane! Your area looks like my area!
Pretty right after it snowed, now I'm waiting for it to go away.
Love all the snow photos!
Me, too! I just cannot seem to get warm.
Annie is the only one of the five who is not phased by the weather!
Stay warm, friend! xo, misha
Yeah, I'm pretty creaky in this cold weather, too!
Looks very cold there! We've been cold and wet, so no riding time here either!
I hope it warms up so you can get some riding in soon!
Every winter I think that I just can't make it through another one (and I have less winter to get through). I am with you - hurry up spring! Your winter pictures are really beautiful though.
I'm with you, Jane. The snow is pretty but I can hardly wait for warmer weather. In fact, we're in the middle of a winter storm warning with about 10 inches coming in. It's pretty out but that's because I'm INSIDE.
With the poor job our city does with plowing, I won't be able to see Pepper and ChiliPepper this week. I'm going through serious withdrawal and NEED to spend every minute I can with them. Almost got the car stuck by Chris and Sam's barn on Saturday due to the snow. Oh, where is spring?
I agree...come on spring!! But, it's very pretty out there for you.
lol! Yes, upright is good :D
Your icicle photo is stunning. The angle and perspective are interesting and perfect. Nice job!
